Cabo Party Yacht for Bachelor Parties: What to Expect

If there's one thing every Cabo bachelor party should do, it's get out on the water. The coastline around Land's End is one of the most famous in Mexico, and seeing it from a private yacht with a DJ and an open bar is the moment most groups talk about for years. Here's exactly what to expect on the 90ft party yacht, so you can plan the day and get the most out of it.
The boat
The yacht is a 90ft party boat built for groups. There's room for up to 30 guests, so the whole bachelor crew fits, plus friends who aren't staying at the villa. There's deck space for dancing, shaded areas for when the sun gets strong, and plenty of spots to hang off the back with a drink.

The packages are all-inclusive, with taxes included:
- A live DJ with pro DJ equipment

The route
Trips leave from the Cabo San Lucas marina, which is minutes from both of our featured villas. From there the boat heads out into the bay toward Land's End. The highlight is El Arco, the famous rock arch where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific. Along the way you'll pass Lover's Beach and the sea lion rocks near the Arch, then cruise along the coastline with views back toward the Pedregal cliffs. If you're staying at Villa Lands End, you'll likely spot the villa from the water.
The exact route and swim stop depend on conditions that day. The crew picks the calmest, best spot to anchor so the group can jump in and use the water toys.
What the vibe is like
It's a party. The DJ sets the tone as soon as you leave the dock, the bar is open, and the energy builds as you get out toward the Arch. Most groups go big on the way out, slow down for the swim stop and meal, then turn it back up for the cruise home. On a sunset departure, the light over the Pacific makes for the best photos of the trip.
When to go
- Afternoon is the classic choice, with warm water, plenty of sun and an easy transition to dinner and nightlife afterward.
- Sunset cruises are the most photogenic, and they flow straight into a night out downtown.
- Season: Cabo is a year-round destination. Winter and spring bring the most comfortable weather. From roughly December through April, whale-watching season can add humpback sightings to your cruise. Late summer and early fall are hotter, and they overlap with the region's hurricane season, so keep some flexibility in your plans.
What to bring
- Swim trunks and a change of clothes
- Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses
- A waterproof phone case
- Cash for tipping the crew, which is customary
- The groom, dressed however the best man decides
Drinks, food and music are covered. You don't need to bring coolers.
How to fit it into your weekend
We recommend putting the yacht on day two of a three-day trip. That gives you a buffer in case of flight delays on arrival and leaves time to recover before you fly home. A great day two looks like this: a big breakfast from the chef at the villa, the yacht in the afternoon, a shower and change back at the house, then dinner and nightlife downtown. Our full plan is in the 3-day Cabo bachelor party itinerary guide.
Pair it with the right villa
The yacht is even better with a private villa as your home base. You get the pregame before, the recovery pool after, and a chef and bartender on standby.
- Villa Lands End: Pedregal cliffside, 8 bedrooms, up to 22 guests, a pool and jacuzzi over the Pacific. Villa Lands End on Cabo Connections.
- VIP Marina Mansion: 8 bedrooms, up to 26 guests, two pools and a hot tub, a rooftop-level bar, and walking distance to the marina where the yacht leaves. VIP Marina Mansion on Cabo Connections.
Common questions
Can friends who aren't staying at the villa join?
Yes. The yacht holds up to 30 guests, so you can bring in friends staying elsewhere in Cabo. Just include the total headcount in your inquiry.
Is the yacht private?
Yes. The boat is booked for your group only, with no strangers and no shared tour.
Do we need to be good swimmers?
No. The swim stop is optional, and plenty of guests stay on deck with a drink. If you do jump in, life vests are a good idea, so ask the crew.
What if the weather turns?
The crew watches conditions closely. If the sea isn't safe, they'll work with you on timing. That's one more reason to book the yacht in the middle of your trip instead of on the last day.
Book the yacht with your villa
One inquiry covers both. Tell us your dates, headcount and the yacht package you want through the inquiry form, and we'll confirm availability for the boat and the house together. It's the easiest way to plan the best bachelor party villa and yacht combo in Cabo.
